Fruit Cheese from N17

We are starting to offer a range of Fruit Cheese this week from a North London neighbour Hazel Griffiths of Fruit Magpie.

Hazel makes Fruit Cheese which is a type of fruit preserve, but with a firmer consistency - much better known in France as pâte de fruits, and in Spain as quince membrillo (Hazel has planted a quince tree in her own garden).

She gets her produce either fromher own garden or from local urban allotments and gardens.

SHe was just recently voted into the Observer Food Monthly’s “favourite foods, cooks, restaurants and more: fifty things we love in 2017” - a great achievement for her.
