Warm early spring conditions have generally been very welcome - allowing plenty of planting to be done for the season ahead.
We have the first spring onions, spring greens and chives in this week. Organic salad bags are now much less wintry (ie less kale) and more spring like (mizuna & mustard leaves).
Nationally, the warmer weather has meant a glut of early maturing cauliflowers, so we have dropped our price to just 89p this week - dont miss out! And that means all of our Cauliflower related recipe boxes are much better value too.
And in news just in, Waitrose has just increased the price of its bananas for the second time in 6 months due to the rising cost of imports - what better time to concentrate on eating more local produce?!
