Veg update 14/03/18 - White Radishes, First Cucumber, and Walmestone Pak Choi

14 March 2018

We have a couple of new lines in this week - a new crop of unsprayed white radishes from Walmestone growers, which will brighten up your chilly March weekend.

If you want to do something different with radishes - try cutting them in half and roasting them at 180c for 35 minutes with coconut oil, rosemary and lemon - they are delicious!

Also we have the first cucumbers of the season from Lee Valley.

Greens are still recovering - we might be short on spinach and be replacing with swiss chard - we will see how the pickers get on tomorrow - the temperatures do seem to be dropping back down again, which doesn't help!

Plus we have a new crop of Pak Choi (unsprayed) in from Walmestone Growers.

Next week - to look forward to - first Wild Garlic & outdoor rhubarb.
