And we have a brace of new apples in this week. If you like a proper crunch on your apple, then we have the First of the Red Pippins in this week - harder than a Cox, and really fresh tasting.
On the other hand, if you like an apple that you can rub against your trouser leg, so that it buffs up to a cricket ball shine, then the Spartan is your first and best choice. They are also the smallest apple that is grown in our Jacobs Farm orchards and so are perfect for kids and lunchboxes.
