Versatile and tasty, this mutton leg steak can be used in a casserole with bacon lardons, tomatoes, herbs and olives. It is the ideal choice of meat for slow cooking and can be incorporated into most dinner choices with other ingredients.
Mutton is cheaper than lamb but much more flavoursome. Cut from barren ewes, Kimbers's mutton is matured for 2-3 years, making it tender and rich.
