Traditional Red Cheshire Cheese
From Edward & Christine Appleby, of Hawkstone Abbey Farm, Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Vegetarian, Unpasteurised
Appleby's Cheshire is a moist and crumbly cheese, with a clean and zesty flavour on the tongue followed by a rich mouth watering finish, which you can enjoy in your mouth long after you have tasted the cheese.
Appleby’s Cheshire goes particularly well with fruit cake, figs or dates, as the acidity complements the sweetness of the fruit. Appleby’s Cheshire also has excellent cooking properties.
The Appleby family have made Cheshire continuously on their farm since 1952. Theirs is the last raw milk, clothbound Cheshire made in England today.
