Like burrata, originally stracciatella is a product from Puglia and its name comes from its peculiar composition: “stracciata” means shredded, ripped in Italian, like the strings made by shredding a mozzarella fior di latte. These strings are then mixed with panna, a UHT specialty cream imported from Italy, and the result is a unique soft cheese with an unimaginable savory / sweet flavour. Try it as an ingredient to enrich your dishes or make it your dish and find your state of gastronomic contentment!
