Also known as pressed Guanciale; the Italian classic, Air-Dried product made from pigs cheeks is the perfect addition to your Spaghetti Carbonara or Sugo all’Amatriciana Made using only British, Ethically Sourced Pork, our Guanciale is delicately cured, smoked and air-dried to create a flavoursome and versatile product. Ours is shaped into an easy to use cylinder, making slicing and dicing extremely easy.
Originating in central Italy, Umbria and Lazio, it takes its name from the Italian for ‘cheek’ – guancia.
Perfect in hearty dishes, on pizzas, in stews and sauces as well as sharing boards and charcuterie platters.
