A double whammy of seasonal september Seafood!
The first of the mussels arrive this week, and it is a lovely way to keep in touch with the seaside during the winter months. We get Wild Welsh Mussels that growing naturally in abundance, and our mussels are hand raked into small boats, from where they are cleaned and sent up to us. We really hope that they are taste the difference product from ones that you might get in supermarkets - bigger, meatier and tastier.
And much more short lived we have the first of the squid this week, in from Falmouth Bay - they are beautifully sized this year at around 350g per squid - so dont miss out!
