As we bask in this Mediterranean sunshine this week, we have a lovely range of produce in. On the salad side, we have new spring arrivals of Cucumbers, and Spring Salad Flowers, and Cultivate London's range of peppery and mild salads return this week.
On the veggie side, the warm sunshine has let the overwintered crops of spinach, kale and chard have a good end of season flourish, so there is no excuse for not eating well this coming week...!
Your deskbound urban correspondent can promise you that all of our growers' fields are a hotbed of activity at present, as they seize the opportunity that the benign conditions presents to get as much planting done as they possibly can for the summer and autumn crops.
