Getting the children to eat their 5 a day can be a challenge—to say the least! Carrots are a staple vegetables that many of us buy each week, whether in full size or baby carrot form. Carrots have a natural sweetness, but they often need a little help to bring it out, especially if you’re using carrots from an average supermarket, however Local, in season carrots are often ALOT sweeter and intensely flavorful, so if you’re lucky enough to have some of these kinds of carrots, you will likely not need to do much of anything to them.
How we like them:
Dipped in Avocado Houmous or Tzatziki and eaten straight. No need to peel. just wash them well!
