Suitable for marinating in lemon, capers, garlic and then slowly roasting, this mutton leg fillet can be served with crusty bread. 

Serving:

  • 1kg - Up to 2 people
  • 1.5kg - Up to 4 people



Mutton is cheaper than lamb but much more flavoursome. Cut from barren ewes, Kimbers' mutton is matured for 2-3 years, making it tender and rich.

Great roasted whole, or boned and barbecued. Like a shoulder, mutton leg can also be slow-roasted for hours until it becomes really tender and the meat falls apart.
