We have the first Ida Red apples in this week - a good sized, crunchy juicy apple- they mature late, and keep well (a grocer's dream!).
Otherwise, little change this week, except to say we have a huge range of greens at the moment - from purple sprouting, through all the different types of kale, spinach, chard, cabbages to Cos Lettuce, Salads & Watercress- no excuse for not getting your full intake of minerally and roughage-y goodness!
Finally, the medlars are now fully bletted, ripe and ready to cook with - so if you want tomake those pots of festive medlar jelly, dont hang arond, as this might well be the last week!
