New Season 'Wet' Garlic

What is it?

Also known as Green Garlic, these new season garlic bulbs are picked straight from the ground and enjoyed "as is". that means, no hanging or drying - and as a consequence, they come will their tails (of stems) firm and intact, and their bulbs not fully formed. as you can see in the picture, they look similar to a spring onion.

Why eat them now?

They are delicious! Milder and fresher tasting than a mature garlic bulb, you can eat the stem and bulb, either slicing them up and cooking them in a dish, as you would regular garlic, or adding them fresh and raw to a salad.

A real seasonal treat to enjoy!
