Dylan has the usual range of
Cod,
Wrasse,
Pollock &
Ray Wings, as well as
Sea Bass, all caught this afternoon. The relative lack of variety is a big headache for them at the moment - the reason for it? There is so much cod in their waters, which are amongst the most predatory fish around, and are eating the other species. A headache because they have very little cod quota. Interesting.
On lighter matters: Valentines: two ideas
1,
a pair of Ray Wing - very easy to prepare and eat, and very delicious
2,
a whole wild Sea Bass, caught by Willie on his Foxy Lady fishing boat (1 - 1.5kg - perfect for two, and honestly, an absolute steal at £18 per kg) - perfect for two to share.
