Perfect Pork Pie 5 Ways

14 June 2011
Introducing... Bray's Cottage award-winning pork pies, made by Sarah and Nell on a small scale from their home-reared pigs in North Norfolk. They won’t be like any other pork pie you’ve tasted.

They are hand-made, using the best cuts – so they contain the sort of meat that would usually be used for chops, joints and tenderloin, not often found in a pork pie!

And as Giles Coren said “This was quite the most extraordinary pie I had ever known: deeply porky without any nagging gaminess, spicy without being peppery, firm and insistent in its flavour and very lean…the perfect pie”.

Bray's Cottage pork pie flavours vary seasonally.  We're currently stocking:
  • onion marmalade: with bacon and a onion marmalade
  • the naked pie: a traditional pork pie with their own blend of herbs and spices
  • chilli: with a touch of chilli jelly
  • the Cley pie: smoked paprika spiced pork pie with a slice of chorizo
  • wiveton: with lemon, parsley and garlic
