We have some lovely new lines in this week - Savoy Cabbages from Chris Bean in Kent - the perfect cabbage i think for stuffing (see our Chou Farci recipe boxes if you want to try something different).
On cabbages, Ansi's late summer Hispi cabbages are huge and delicious - excellent value at just 139p, and we also have a crop of Ripple Farm Organic Celery - it is coming with Heads / leaves on, which are delicious, especially if just mixed into a green lettuce salad - please don't throw them!
We have the first conference pears in this week and also multiple varieties of squash now - including the ever popular butternut.
