This crazy end of hte month warm spell has pushed on the first pick of Wild Garlic (a good ten days earlier than usual!)
It is a wonderful early Spring leaf - not actually related go regular Garlic at all - instead it has long slim leaves, and springs up usually in woodland at this time of year.
It is a great addition to salads, or to dishes (stirred in at the last minute. And it also makes a wonderful Wild Garlic Pesto (we will be offering this in the months ahead, but for now you will have to make it yourself!
