January is a gorgeous month for eating seasonally and really healthily - highlights are:
Flower Sprouts, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Kale (Black, Mixed, Green), and always a good variiety of Cabbages.
A great range of root veggies: Potatoes, Parsnips, Turnips, Swede, Jerusalem Artichokes & a narrowing range or squash.
First Forced Rhubarb, and still a good quantity of apples & pears left.
And not so edible, but very easy on the eye and good for the soul; Daffodils from Cornwall!
