Tiptree is the home of the Wilkin family. Wilkin & Sons own almost 1,000 acres of farmland in and around the village of Tiptree, they have farmed there for nearly three hundred years. The very first Tiptree conserves were made in 1885 and to this day they specialise in fruit growing on the Tiptree estates.
