All of our prepared chickens are on offer at 599p per kg this week: we have jointed, crown jointed, spatchcocked & halved.
For the eagle-eyed amongst you, the difference between the spatcocked & the halved, is that in the spatchcock bird the breast and back bones are removed, which essentially allows for significantly quicker cooking.
Personally, i prefer the halved to the spatchock, because I think that retaining the bones means that the bird cooks more evenly even if it take a little longer.
But you have the beauty of the choice, and whatever you choose, offering such good quality birds at 599p per kg is a bargain, which I very much hope you take advantage of!
