We have the first figs in this week from just a few miles up the road in Waltham Abbey, grown by the Hibberd Family, they are the first time we have been able to offer English figs, as there are very few commercial growers - so this is an exciting step for us!
And we also have onion squash starting this week - the first of the proper nutty, sweeter flavoured squash, which is always a lovely point in the year to reach.
To celebrate this, we are offering a recipe box of roasted squash, with onions & Radicchio - just 399p, and usable either as a veggie main course, or a side dish in a family meal.
