Muntjac are quite a serious nuisance in the countryside - their numbers having grown rapidly since escaping from Woburn Abbey in 1925 (they were originally from Asia) to the point where they are probably the most common deer we have. The meat is flavoursome and well worth trying - either diced & stewed, or roasted whole.
