We are going to be trialling a couple of changes to the farm-direct.com service totry and make it more convenient for you.
Re-launch of the mid-week service, now including meat
From Wednesday 8th September, you will be able to pick up or have home delivered the full range of our products (except for fresh fish and a few dairy items for the moment). The depot will be open from 2.30-6.30 if you want to collect your order, or if you want it home delivered, then there will be three options foryou (see below).
To receive your order on Wednesday, you will need to place it by Monday 1pm (if your order includes meat) and by Tuesday 8am if it does not.
Wednesday Delivery & Collection Options:
PM home delivery - 2pm to 6pm
Evening home delivery - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Anytime home delivery – anytime between 9am & 6pm; & your order shouldnot contain any chilled items.
Collection– the depot will be open from 2.30pm to 6.30pm
Introduction of a Friday Collection & Home Delivery Service
Many of you have said to us that the perfect time to have your weekly fresh produce would be on a Friday, ie in time for the weekend, and so we are going to be giving this a go. The same order deadlines will apply as for the the weekend service, with the single exception that if you want to have any bakery items on a Friday, then you will need to order have placed your order by 1pm on Thursday.
Given that some of the products from our growers, farmers and producers only arrive after lunch on Friday, it will be very much a late afternoon / evening service,with initially just a single delivery slot, and the depot being open for just three hours.
Friday Delivery & Collection Options:
PM delivery - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Collection – the depot will be open from 4pm to 7pm
These changes will be in place from today. All aspects of our Saturday & Sunday service will remain the same.

Please note that though the depot will be open on Wednesdays & Fridays, we are unlikely to be holding much extra stock of vegetables for you simply to turn up and buy - so please do try and order before turning up.
We hope that you find our new website relatively easy to use. A couple features to mention are that you can now quickly re-order previous weeks' orders through the "my account" section of the website (as well as adding and subtracting items as you want), browse items more easily with our clearer layout, and review & rate items, sharing your thoughts with other customers. We also hope to progressing the service with more exciting additions as our local home-bakers get into full swing, bringing you delightful treats from the Farm-direct kitchen. One year old
Next weekend farm-direct.com will be one year old: you will receive one of Isabel's muffins with your order, as a small way of saying thank you for your support over the last year and we very much look forward to continuing the farm-direct adventure with you and seeing what this next year will bring!
