Farm Direct Needs You!! Win a bottle of Chegworth's finest juice.

14 October 2010

Dear Customer,

Over the last few months we have been seeking new ways to try and improve our service. We have a new collection point at the Nice Green Cafe, a shiny new website and expanded our delivery service. Can we please pick your brains for some more ideas? At the moment we are considering:

1) Making ordering easier in a few ways (eg. by allowing you to have a shopping list that you can compile & reorder, or by having an   iphone/android application so that you can order “on the move”, and offering a phone service where we call you on a Thursday to take your order over the phone.)

2) Offering more collection points from which you can collect your order

3) Offering a weekly box/subscription service that you can receive without having to always re-order

So what do you think of these ideas? Do you have any other suggestions as to how we can make life easier for you?

Please tell us in the comment section below, the best suggestion will win a bottle of Chegworth juice.

Thank you, your help is very much appreciated.

The Farm Direct Team.

Delivery times
Dear Farm Direct
Offering Wednesday AM slots, as well as slots of 1 or 2 hours would really help!
Thank you
Sarah

Great Produce and Attitude
I run pop-up restaurants and cater for large parties called PipsDinners and I'm always looking for really interesting locally grown produce at reasonable prices. There are hundreds of so-called 'online shopping' ventures but the problem is that they in no way replicate the shopping experience we have face to face and are hugely unreliable in terms of customer expectations and price.
Farm Direct is different. They've understood the ideas of choice, variety and the web. This experience allows me to choose surprises and be inspired by seasonal stuff as well as stock up on the staples. The charming attitude of Robert and his team means nothing is too much trouble. I'm about to move to South London but I will certainly make the trip over the river to ensure I benefit from the expert and passionate sourcing.
Keep the ideas coming and bring on the iPhone app!!

New site a big improvement!
Hi all
I'm much happier ordering from the new website and having a page to just amend an existing order would be very handy.  Other ideas might be to offer an incentive if people "recommend a friend" and advertise more.  I happened to come across your service in a free green newsletter ages ago, but I'm not sure I've seen you advertised anywhere else since.  Maybe some leaflets through letterboxes would help more people to know?
I would also prefer if you debited my account sooner to the time that I receive my order - it's a bit deflating to see my account debited when all the food has gone!
Otherwise v happy with the service!

I'd like to be able to buy raw honey and raw cheese. Seems to be no unpasturised cheese.

thanks for your great helpfulness. Adele

Thought about seeds?
I love the service and will continue to regularly use it but I also grow some of my own veges and wondered if you had thought about sourcing and selling good quality, independent, organic seeds?
