Hearty Autumn Meat & Veggies

With the late summer harvest now finished, hearty autumn meat and veggies come to the forefront of our offering this week.

Nicola is cutting her lamb neck chops again (low demand for chops over the summer means the neck is filleted), perfect baked or in a stew - the bones impart a delicious flavour into your dish.

Veg-wise, autumn greens are top of the menu. We have a plethora of sweet, crunchy, earthy cabbages and our squash really comes into its own (try our great value mixed selection for a bit of variety this week).

Our Jonogold apples are real giants this year (despite the otherwise poor apple harvest). If you are struggling for your 5 portions of fruit and veg, these will go a long way!
