Trouble Digesting Milk? Raw Milk Could Be Your Answer

11 October 2012
If you have trouble digesting milk than an intolerance to lactose may not be the culprit. Typical dairy herds produce a protein called 'A1' (owing to a mutation in mass produced European cows), which can often cause digestive discomfort.
Some cow breeds don't produce this A1 protein as they have not undergone the mutation (perhaps as nature intended?) and resultantly their milk doesn't cause these symptoms.
Guernsey cows are one such breed. You can now buy raw Jersey milk direct from Hurdlebrook Farm and we will courier it direct to you. Click
