General

- It was the most delicious Christmas lunch that went on for several days - every meal as delicious as the last! It is also brilliant to have everything delivered to our door too...thank you to the team!
- feedback on the Christmas delivery - great to have added delivery slots, most of the food was good. Only gripe was that the bacon was already past it's use-by date on delivery day (packet said use by 20-12, delivery was the Saturday after this date)

- Also I followed the cooking instructions to the letter, resulting in a far moister and tastier turkey than usual. So much for covering the bird with endless streaky rashers and cooking it for hours and hours! I will certainly order again from Farm Direct next Christmas.
- We loved our Christmas delivery thanks. We had the veg box, and a bronze turkey crown. The turkey tasted fantastic - so much better than last year or the year before.. The veg was great too - loads of it and tasty. Best of all, getting a delivery first thing Christmas eve morning took all the hassle away.

The Food
- Best turkey I’ve eaten and though only got around to pudding yesterday it was also first rate
- I ordered a rib of beef which was substituted with a more expensive Gill Wing rib, but it was delicious, so a great sub.
- Dalston handmade pudding was thoroughly enjoyed even though we are not big fans of christmas pudding.. The duck was exceptional.
- Overall we were very happy with our order. In particular the turkey was delicious as usual.

- I was particularly pleased with the large rye loaf and the rye with caraway And fruit loaf, as they're rue very large, lasted really well and were delicious.

- Please accept my thanks for another superb turkey this Christmas. I didn't think I'd ever have such a delicious turkey as last year's but this one was just as succulent and tasty.
- This year, I ordered my first Christmas vegetable box. The selection, quality and quantity far exceeded my expectations. The stand out veg was the large consignment of baby parsnips. Delicious
- The Farm Direct turkey was absolutely delicious. The little booklet that came with it really added to our enjoyment, as it was good to hear that the turkey had been reared humanely.
- Just dropping you a line to say we were REALLY pleased with our Christmas order. The quality of the turkey in particular was stunning, and we were eating farm fresh veg for days
- I also picked up a Christmas pud from you and it was universally thought to be the most delicious Christmas pudding ever - I have never had even a second helping of xmas pud before but had three helpings of this one.
- All was well. The rib of beef and the smoked salmon were particularly delicious. First time I'd cooked a rib of beef and despite battling with a strange cooker (Electric oven. Just wrong.) with no manual it was pink and delicious.
- Loved the salmon (it was as delicious as it was gorgeous)!! And the veg box was fantasic + a bargain!
- Yes we were delighted with our goose, really tasty and we made stock and have fat in the freezer for the next few months.
- Thanks for the email and also the duck you sold us. It made for good eating over Christmas and collection was hassle free and convenient..
What we could have done better?
- Other comment is actually a general one about the cheese, to ask if you can add a note to all dairy products to say if they're pasteurised or not - helpful when you're feeding people who can't or won't eat unpasteurised dairy products.
- We were surprised that our gammon joint didn't come with the skin on - when I have had them from butchers in the past they have, and all of the recipes assume that they will and make a thing of what you should do with the fat.
- Sprouts were a bit ropey.
- The only minor comment I have is that the duck came with a lot of smalls feathers/nibs still on it.
- The turkey was expensive but we got our order in late and the smaller ones had sold out. Anyway, it was delicious so that's the main thing.
- Regretfully I feel I have to give negative feedback regarding my Christmas order. I deliberately chose an 'early bird' delivery slot from 8-10am on Christmas eve for our chicken. I chose the slot as I knew we had plans that day with my young son and visiting family. The chicken arrived 2 hours late which pretty much ruined our plans for the day
