Weather outlook, fingers crossed for Elderflower!

15 June 2016

Early summer downpours have meant saturated soil, and slowing greens - which short term is not welcome, but will hopefully set us up well for the coming weeks (this time last year we were praying for rain!).

We are hoping to have the first fresh elderflower in this week, which is always lovely either for making cordial, or deep fried fritters, but it is not certain. The heavy rain of the last few days has left it sodden - so we will have to wait and see what condition it is in Thursday morning.
