After a gap last week, Bocaddon vealreturns. They produce high-welfare veal from unwanted dairy bull calves thatare reared in open-air, loose straw yards. They are fed on a varied diet thatproduces a rich pink meat rather than white veal which results from moredubious welfare practices. If they were not reared for veal they would facebeing shot at birth, shipped out to the continent or intensively reared toproduce low quality beef.
