Ripple Farm Update - Green Onions, New Season Chards, & Potatoes on the way

Dear All,

A good week of growth (with 3 days of heat and high humidity) - things are finally moving, though it will take a little more time to translate this into good sized greens and vegetables. Our new potatoes are now looking likely for early July.

Baby green onions are now starting to bulb up, so these are available from this week - they are small still, about the size of a large spring onion.

Our spring sown chard is starting to crop (rainbow & green), but it is still in limited supply (we lost the first 2 sowings to the cold april: it ran straight to seed!).

Mixed kale remains in good supply as does our mixed salad, though parsley and spinach remain a couple of weeks away from being big enough to crop.
