We had the first of the new Season Garlic last week from Matthew @ Garden Harvest in Essex, and we are very happy to be offering a good sized, 9 bulb Garlic String from this week.
Matthew harvests his garlic from mid-July each year and then it is dried in either fields or his barn for 2 weeks.
Following this, we weave it into plaits. The Garlic will remain edible until well into next year if kept in dry, cool or ambient temperatures.
Do not store in a fridge.
