
Cavolo Nero Kale -also known as dinosaur Kale to some!- gets its name from it’s very dark green leaves. It has a pleasantly tangy, bitter flavour, with a sweet after-taste. It’s is an extremely versatile vegetable, and can be used in a number of different ways. We recommend trying steaming and drizzling with olive oil and salt. It also tastes wonderful with bacon &mixed into mashed celeriac.
