From the middle of February onwards we will be entering the wild game season which brings with it wonderful winter flavours such as venison,rabbit and wood pigeon!
With the end of reared game season approaching we have decided to slash the price of our birds to allow you to fill up your freezer.
At this time of year, game reared birds will have lost most of their fat, while their flavour will have intensified after months of living off natural vegetation. I think this is when they are at their best - perfect for a pot roast, with a medley of seasonal root veg and kale as an accompaniment.
