Gooseberries - tarting it up!

04 June 2014

Gooseberries are a delicious British fruit which appears to be nearly extinct from our summer diet. Topped and tailed with a little sugar and water, they lose their tartness and can be used in a variety of puddings (and they freeze really well!). Mr and Mrs Lukies are helping to reintroduce Gooseberries from Cammas Hall into your seasonal cooking.

Gooseberry Yoghurt Fool is one of Deilia Smith’s fantastically easy recipes. Made with creamy thick Greek yoghurt it is perfect to welcome you into the warmer spring weather.

A gooseberry and elderflower cocktail is a great spring alternative to Friday’s usual gin and tonic!!
