Raw (Spring) Honey returns this week

16 June 2015

Raw Honey returns this week - still in the 3lb jars, and still good value

At this early stage in the year, the honey is mainly coming from bees feeding off the our native British rape seed flowers, which contains oils that are great for the bones, and for treating Osteoperosis, as well as host of other benefits.

Our beekeeper, Graham Johnson, pictured below, offers the raw honey in 3lb / 1.3kg tubs - these are much bigger than the regular 1lb jars, and is done because un-heated honey is tough for put into small jars (which is the reason why producers tend to heat it up in the first place).

Honey being honey, it will not go off, and so you will not waste it, and you do get the nutritional benefits of it not being heated up.
