Chinese-inspired dumplings with a sweet and aromatic duck filling. This is a classic and flavourful Chinese dumpling that brings together a harmonious blend of ingredients. Enjoy with your favourite dipping sauce or serve with delicious beetroot black vinegar chutney.

Wrapper: Wheat Flour, Water. Corn Starch, Wheat Gluten, Sugar and Salt.

Filling: Duck (35.1%), Carrots.

Seasoning Sauce (Water. Glucose Syrup. Sugar, Soya paste (Water, Soybean, Rice, Salt), Light Soy Sauce (Water, Salt, Soybean, Wheat. Sugar). Concentrated Tomato Puree, Modified Starch, Vinegar. Ginger, Garlic Puree. Onion Powder, Rapeseed Oil, Chinese Five Spices, White Peppercorn, Plain Caramel), Water, Spring Onion, Sesame Oil, Balsamic Vinegar (Wine Vinegar, contains Sulphites), Garlic. Ginger, Yeast Extract and Salt

How to cook

Simply steam.

  1. Line a steamer (or a colander / sieve) with baking paper and place over a pan of boiling water on a medium heat.
  2. Add the dumplings and cover with a lid. Steam for 7 minutes. Enjoy!

 

Pan fry and steam

  1. Add 1 tbsp (15 ml) of oil and 2 tbsp (30 ml) of water to a non-stick pan. (Layer the pan with baking paper first for the best finish).
  2. Add the dumplings to the pan and heat until the water starts to boil.
  3. Cover with a lid and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid and allow the remaining water to evaporate.
  5. Turn the heat down and continue to fry until the bottoms are golden and crunchy. Enjoy!

 

Air-frying

  1. Add water (approx. 100 ml) into the base of the air fryer.
  2. Pre-heat to 180°C. Spray oil onto the rack before adding dumplings.
  3. Distribute the dumplings evenly and spray with oil
  4. Heat for 8 minutes. Enjoy!

 

For guidance only, cooking appliances may vary. Please ensure dumplings are cooked until piping hot. Do not re-heat once cooked.

Suitable to cook directly from frozen, just add an extra minute according to the cooking instructions to make sure it’s piping hot before serving.
